ilistpet.store Rules

ilistpet.store is for local household pet rehoming and pet community posts. It is not a shipping board, breeding marketplace, livestock auction, or exotic animal marketplace.

Listings and messages are created by users. See the Section 230 Notice for the platform role and user-content liability notice.

See something, say something. Report unsafe, suspicious, illegal, exotic, farm-related, shipping-based, or scammy listings to ilist.store.support@gmail.com.
  1. Face-to-face only. No pet shipping, transport scams, courier arrangements, or long-distance animal transfers.
  2. Household pets only. Dogs, cats, common small pets, common legal pet birds, fish, and household pet supplies or services may be listed.
  3. No exotic animals. Exotic, wild, venomous, endangered, protected, permit-required, or restricted animals are not allowed.
  4. No illegal animals. Users are responsible for following federal, state, county, and city laws.
  5. No farm animals or livestock at launch. No cattle, pigs, goats, sheep, horses, chickens, roosters, ducks, geese, or livestock listings.
  6. No puppy mill or mass breeder listings. This site is for responsible local rehoming, not high-volume animal sales.
  7. No payment-before-meeting scams. Never send deposits, gift cards, wire transfers, or app payments before meeting and verifying the pet.
  8. Be honest. Describe age, health, temperament, vaccination status, spay/neuter status, and known behavior issues accurately.
  9. Meet safely. Use good judgment, bring another adult when possible, and choose safe public arrangements when appropriate.
  10. Moderation is final. ilistpet.store may remove posts that appear unsafe, illegal, dishonest, abusive, or outside these rules.
